The film-covered compost turner is a large-scale composting equipment integrating turning, film-covering and film-removing functions, specially designed for the film-covered aerobic fermentation process.
The core function of the film-covered compost turner is to directly turn over the pile without removing the film, solving the problems of greenhouse gas leakage, nutrient loss and high labor costs caused by repeated film removal in traditional film-covered composting.
This technology has been granted a national invention patent and is applicable to organic fertilizer production line, manure treatment centers and sludge treatment plants with an annual output of over 10,000 tons. It can efficiently handle organic solid wastes such as livestock and poultry manure, sludge and kitchen waste, significantly improving the uniformity of fermentation and environmental protection.

The structural design of the film-covered compost turner focuses on under-film operation and functional integration. The core modules include:
Walking device
It adopts a crawler chassis (such as CA-Y4200), equipped with a hydraulic steering system, supports in-place turning and local hardened ground operations, with a ground pressure of ≤15 kPa to prevent ground compaction.
Flip the execution system
Chain plate conveying device: The inclined chain plate is equipped with wear-resistant toothed blades, which actively grasp the middle and lower layer materials and mix and convey them backward, solving the problem of caking.
Material taking drum: A toothed drum is set on the upper layer. After chopping the materials on the upper layer, they are thrown onto the chain plate to achieve full-layer mixing.
Laminated integrated module
Film rolling mechanism: Front/rear double-roll design, the width of the covering film is adapted to the width of the turning pile (such as 4.2m), and the tension of the film material is controlled by hydraulic pressure.
Pressing wheel set: Automatically presses the film after flipping, reducing nitrogen volatilization and odor escape.
Intelligent control system
The 10-inch touch screen centrally controls the flipping depth, walking speed and film tension.
Integrated microbial agent spraying system, supporting the timed and quantitative addition of microbial agents.
Compared with conventional compost turning machines, the film-covered compost turner has achieved breakthroughs in environmental protection, energy efficiency and intelligence:
Environmental protection upgrade
Energy efficiency innovation
Structural improvement
Precise scale adaptation
Develop compact models (with a turning width of no more than 3.5m), suitable for medium-sized factories with an annual output of 5,000 to 8,000 tons, to avoid capacity redundancy of large equipment.
Full-cycle cost advantage
By eliminating the need for factory buildings and odor control facilities, the total investment is reduced by 50%.
The modular design supports independent replacement of the knife roller/laminating mechanism, reducing the recycling cycle to 14 months.
Expand process compatibility
Optional low-temperature bacterial agent spraying system (starting at -30℃) and cattle mattress feed production module are available to meet the needs of manure and straw treatment in cold regions.
Application evidence: After the Indonesian customer adopted the LANE film-covered compost turner, the energy consumption cost per ton of fertilizer was reduced to 1.5 US dollars, and the annual comprehensive income increased by 60,000 US dollars
The LANE film-covered compost turner, with its compact structure, low investment cost and high scalability, provides medium-sized treatment plants with a solution that combines emission reduction compliance and economic feasibility.
