What is PROM (Phosphorus Rich Organic Fertilizer)?

Phosphorus-rich organic fertilizer is a fertilizer that combines phosphorus, an essential nutrient for plant root development, flowering and fruiting, with organic matter. It has a huge role to play in crops that require large amounts of phosphorus inputs, such as vegetables, fruits and grains.

Production Process of the PROM Production Line

1. Raw Material Preparation

Collect raw materials such as animal manure, crop residues, and phosphate rock powder.

Adjust the carbon-to-nitrogen (C/N) ratio and moisture content for optimal fermentation.

2. Fermentation and Composting

Use a compost turner or organic fertilizer fermenter to decompose organic matter, killing harmful pathogens and weed seeds.

3. Crushing

Process fermented materials using a fertilizer crusher to achieve fine particle size, improving granulation efficiency.

4. Mixing

Blend crushed materials with additives like phosphate rock powder and other nutrients in a horizontal mixer to ensure even nutrient distribution.

5. Granulation

Use a rotary drum granulator or disc granulator to shape the fertilizer into uniform granules.

6. Drying and Cooling

Remove excess moisture from granules using a rotary dryer, then cool them with a rotary cooler to maintain product stability.

7. Screening

Use a rotary screening machine to separate qualified granules from oversized and undersized particles. Recycle unqualified particles back into the production process.

8. Packaging

Pack the final phosphorus-rich fertilizer using an automatic packaging machine for storage and distribution.
