New Type Organic Fertilizer Granulator

Fertilizer Equipment Supplier

Product Introduction

The new type organic fertilizer granulator is an efficient fertilizer granulator machine. It utilizes high-speed mechanical stirring and aerodynamic force to continuously mix, granulate, roll and compact fine powder materials within the machine. The resulting particles are spherical or nearly spherical, making this equipment particularly suitable for granulating organic fertilizers, bio-organic fertilizers, and various organic waste materials. It is also suitable for resource recycling and utilization. The granulation rate is over 90%, effectively reducing raw material waste.

Function & Application Scope

The particles have excellent sphericality and high strength, with excellent appearance and quality, and a smooth and attractive surface.

Highly moisture-containing materials can be directly granulated without pre-drying, and can be directly processed for wet materials with moisture content ranging from 20% to 45%.

The granulation process does not require binders. By taking advantage of the characteristic that organic particles interlock and grow under the force, both the activity of organic substances is retained and the production cost is reduced.

This system has wide material adaptability and can handle various organic wastes, including livestock manure, crop straw, pharmaceutical residues, distillery residue, and municipal sludge.

 Working Principle

Begin by blending and fermenting the organic materials.

Introduce water or steam into the mixture until it reaches the ideal moisture level for granulation. This stage is key to successful pellet formation, as proper wetness helps particles stick together and take shape.

Employ a screw or similar rotating mechanism to agitate and compress the mixture. Under high-speed rotation, friction and pressure build up among the particles, allowing them to gradually take form and break away from the die. Meanwhile, regulate the airflow to manage oxygen levels and remove excess heat, enabling the machine to run without interruption.

Once blended and pressed, the material becomes round pellets. You can adjust the equipment to modify the pellet shape and size. As a rule, a lower feed rate combined with a higher rotation speed yields smaller pellets, while the opposite produces larger ones.

The freshly made pellets must be cooled down prior to collection and bagging.

Rotary Drum Granulator

Fulvic Acid Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant

Product Introduction

The rotary drum granulator is one of the most classic fertilizer granulator machines. It agglomerates material into balls through drum rotation. It is suitable for large‑scale compound and blended fertilizer lines, with high capacity and stable operation.

Function & Application Scope

NPK compound fertilizer (high concentration)

Blended fertilizer

Organic‑inorganic blended fertilizer

Working Principle

The powdered material is fed into the drum granulator from the inlet. Inside the drum, a small amount of water or steam is added to moisten the material, allowing it to undergo a chemical reaction.

As the drum rotates, the material is squeezed together and forms into spherical granules. Special structures inside the drum help improve this squeezing and granulation process.

As the drum keeps turning and more material enters, the granules grow larger.

Finally, the finished granules exit through the discharge port, and the granulation process is complete.

Double Roller Granulator

Small-scale NPK fertilizer production line-1

Product Introduction

The double roller granulator is a dry fertilizer granulator machine that requires no water or steam. It extrudes powder into sheets under high roller pressure, then crushes and shapes into granules. It is suitable for heat‑sensitive or moisture‑sensitive materials such as compound fertilizers.

Function & Application Scope

Potash granulation

Dry granulation of compound fertilizer

Slow & controlled release fertilizer base

Mineral powder pelletizing

Working Principle

First, prepare the necessary raw materials for the roller granulator (e.g., powdered organic fertilizer, compound fertilizer, graphite, etc.) and put them into the machine through the feed hopper. As the screw rod turns, the material is pushed down and squeezed between the two rollers at the bottom.

Once the material reaches the bottom, the two rollers spin toward each other. Using the mold shell, they press the material under high pressure, turning it into a cake or strip shape.

Next, this pressed material moves into the crushing section, where a rotating set of blades breaks it into loose particles. After that, it enters a shaping section, where another set of rotating blades further refines the particles, making their shape more uniform.

The finished particles then go to a rotary vibrating screen for separation. The particles that meet the size requirement are collected as product, while the fine powder that falls through the screen is sent back to the raw material bin for another round of rolling.

The hydraulic system allows the extrusion force of the roller granulator to be adjusted, so different materials can be granulated properly. Also, by changing the groove pattern on the roller surface, you can produce various shapes, such as flakes, strips, or oblate balls.

Disc Granulator

Fertilizer Granulation Machine

Product Introduction

The disc granulator is a fertilizer granulator machine that uses the rotating and agglomerating principle of an inclined disc. It is widely used for compound fertilizer, organic‑inorganic blended fertilizer, and ore pelletizing, with low investment, round pellets, and intuitive operation.

Function & Application Scope

NPK compound fertilizer line

Organic‑inorganic blended fertilizer

Ore pelletizing

Small pellet coating

Working Principle

The disc granulator works by spinning an inclined rotating disc. Materials are crushed, screened, and mixed before being fed evenly onto the disc. Inside the disc, centrifugal force, friction, and gravity combine to make the material move along a curved path, causing it to squeeze, roll, and collide into round particles.

Rotary Drum Churning Teeth Two‑in‑One Granulator

Fertilizer Granules Making Machine

Product Introduction

The rotary drum stirring-tooth two-in-one granulator is a high-performance device that merges the operating principles of a novel organic fertilizer granulator and a rotary drum granulator. It is commonly applied in the granulation of organic fertilizers, compound fertilizers, and various other materials.

Function & Application Scope

High‑moisture organic waste (food waste, sugar filter mud)

Direct granulation of materials with 25%–40% moisture

Blended fertilizer granulation

Sludge to fertilizer

Working Principle

The tooth two-in-one granulator mainly works through wet granulation. A small amount of water or steam is added to help the fertilizer base materials react fully inside the drum. As the drum rotates, the materials are pressed and stuck together to form balls.

Thanks to the high-speed rotating stirring action and the airflow it creates, fine powder materials are continuously mixed, formed into granules, rounded, and compacted—all inside the machine, completing the granulation process.

The resulting granules are spherical, with a roundness of at least 0.7. Their size usually ranges from 0.3 to 3 mm, and the granulation success rate is 80% or higher. You can adjust the particle size by changing the feed amount or the spindle speed: less material and higher speed give smaller particles, while more material and lower speed give larger ones.

Vertical Ring Die Pellet Machine

biomass pellet production line

The vertical ring die pellet machine is an industrial‑grade fertilizer granulator machine with a vertical ring die structure. It offers stable operation, low noise, and long die life, suitable for medium‑to‑large continuous production of organic fertilizer and biomass pellets.

Function & Application Scope

Medium‑to‑large organic fertilizer line (5–20 t/h)

Biomass fuel pellets

Feed pellets

Sawdust, straw, rice husk

Working Principle

The motor drives the ring die to rotate, and material enters the granulation chamber, where it is brought into the working area.

In the working area, friction causes the pressure roller to turn as well, helping the material move forward more quickly.

As the squeezing force and material density increase, once the squeezing force exceeds the friction between the material and the inner wall of the die hole, the material is pushed into the ring die hole.

More and more material is forced into the ring die hole; after being formed, it is pressed out and cut by a cutter into pellet-shaped feed.

Flat Die Pellet Machine

Introduction to Fertilizer Granulator Machines

The flat die pellet machine uses a flat die and roller extrusion principle. It is a fertilizer granulator machine with a simple structure and economical price, especially suitable for small organic fertilizer plants, farms, and feed processing.

 Function & Application Scope

Small organic fertilizer line

Feed pellet processing

Biomass pellets (sawdust, rice husk)

Mushroom substrate pellets

Working Principle

The material first enters the feeding zone, where it remains loose and free from mechanical force. A scraper rotates with the main cylinder to spread the material evenly over the flat die surface.

As the roller turns, the material is gradually compressed. The gap between the roller and the flat die narrows, and the extrusion force increases. When this force overcomes the friction of the die, the material is forced into the die holes and forms granules.

Inside the die holes, the material is compacted. As more material is continuously pushed in, new granules are formed and expelled.
