NPK formula in npk production line:

If you need to produce 1,000 kg of a compound fertilizer with a total nutrient content of 45% and a formulation of N-P2O5-K2O of 15-15-15, how many kilograms of each of urea (46% N), diammonium phosphate (20% N and 50% P), and potassium sulphate (41% K) are needed?

Answer:

Quantity of urea = 195.65 kg;

Quantity of diammonium phosphate = 300kg;

Quantity of potassium sulphate = 365.85kg.

The total amount of three kinds of basic fertilizers is 861.5kg, and 138.5kg of filler is needed; generally, mineral powder slag is used as filler.

Importance of adjusting ingredient ratios:

Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) in NPK fertilizers are the three main nutrients required for crop growth and development.

The purpose of adjusting the percentage of NPK elements is to meet the nutrient needs of different crops at different stages of growth, thereby improving crop yield and quality.

Crop growth needs: Different crops have different needs for NPK elements at different growth stages. For example, in the seed germination and seedling stage, plants have a higher demand for nitrogen to promote the growth of roots and leaves; while in the flowering and fruiting stage, plants have a higher demand for phosphorus and potassium to increase the formation and quality of fruits. Therefore, we need to adjust the percentage of NPK elements according to the growth stage and specific needs of crops.

Soil analysis and crop needs: Soil analysis is the basis for adjusting the NPK elemental percentage. Through soil sample testing, we can understand the content and proportion of different elements in the soil, and then understand the fertility status of the soil. Combined with the crop’s growth needs, we can make adjustments based on the soil analysis results to ensure that the crop receives the proper supply of nutrients.

Increase the diversity of output: Different crops have different needs for NPK elements. By adjusting the NPK element percentage, we can develop different machinery purchase programs for different crop conditions to meet your fertilizer production needs. In this way, farmers can plant according to different kinds of crops, increasing the diversity of farmland output and obtaining better economic benefits.
